0.8.0.0 Milestone 1 Release
PostNukeThe PostNuke Development team is proud to announce the release of PostNuke 0.8 Milestone 1. This release signifies a point in development when the core architecture is in place for third party developers to begin testing their code for compatibility with future .8x series releases. As outlined in many other articles previously, the release of .8 is a major step forward in improving PostNuke's core code, standards compliance and interface usability. While 0.8.0.0-MS1 is released for testing purposes only, bug resports are welcome and should be submitted to the bugtracker at the NOC.

200,000 Mambo Downloads in 10 Days
Mamborico writes "At 1400 GMT on December 9th, the number of downloads of the newest version of Mambo (version 4.5.3) passed the 200,000 mark! Version 4.5.3. was released on the 30th of November, giving a total of more than 200,000 downloads in a period 10 days. The download figures can be found on the Mambo Foundation's official download site, MamboForge.

The significance of the statistic begins to come into perspective when you consider that the total includes only the downloads that came from the MamboForge site. The total does not include the additional thousands of sites running Mambo installations from Fantastico, Plesk, or major hosting partners, like SiteGround, whose owners upgraded independently.

Team Mambo and the Mambo Foundation extend their thanks to the entire global Mambo community for their loyalty and their continued support."
